The 2020–2021 school year is presenting all of us with unprecedented challenges. Regardless of whether students are enrolled in in-person learning or Virtual Academy, we need to ensure that Underwood’s programming remains strong and that our students and staff are supported.
Your purchase of an original painting of Underwood helps the Foundation sustain our school directly in ways the PTA can’t. The Foundation provides salaries for staff our children would not otherwise benefit from, due to a lack of state and local funding.

If we’re unable to maintain all staff positions, Underwood would have larger class sizes, fewer elective offerings, and less instructional support. Your painting purchase helps to ensure that our school is able to continue to offer excellent instruction in both academics and the arts.
These woodblock paintings are acrylic on (mostly reclaimed) wood and measure 7.25”(h) x 9”(w) x 1.5”(d). You can hang your painting on the wall or display it on a shelf.
Each original woodblock painting is unique but similar. For an additional $25, you can add your child’s first name and “Class of _______” to the right end of the woodblock. Alternately, you can add a thank-you to your favorite teacher, e.g., “Thank you, Ms. Smith!” The left end of the woodblock features “Underwood, Five Points.” 100% of all proceeds benefit the Underwood Foundation.
