Help New Orleans & Save Offbeat Magazine
During the month of May, I will be giving back to the city that has given so much to all of us by donating 50% of all profits from the sale of my New Orleans paintings and mixed media art (pictured) to Offbeat Magazine's Gofundme Campaign.
I have been a New Orleans fanatic since I was 19 years old and hitchhiked there from my home state of Maine. That was in May of 1986. Like so many musicians and artists around the world, I find NOLA's culture, music, and people to be a constant source of inspiration. The COVID-19 pandemic has temporarily shut down the music venues, bars, and restaurants. New Orleans' economy depends on these venues and social gatherings like concerts, festivals, and second-line parades.
Over the last 33 years, OffBeat Magazine has been the champion of music, musicians, and New Orleans culture. They have preserved and grown the music "ecosystem" for New Orleans worldwide. Your donations will help get OffBeat back up and running to keep their music coverage and advocacy alive and strong.
Print-On-Demand Products
In addition to the one-of-kind paintings pictured above, I have created this series of print-on-demand products. These designs were inspired by some of the musicians and bars that help make New Orleans great. For this entire month (May 2020), all of my profits from the sale of these print-on-demand products will also be donated to the gofundme campaign for Offbeat Magazine.
