Slim’s Downtown, a Raleigh institution, music venue, dive bar, and pandemic survivor! I did a painting of Slim’s for one of our best clients who is also a Slim’s fan. This is the alternate version that included the police cars.
Trouble at Slim’s Downtown Raleigh
This painting is based on a photo I took of Slim’s, Downtown Raleigh at about 7:30 on a Tuesday morning. As you can see there were already two cop cars parked in front with lights flashing. There was already Trouble at Slim’s and they weren’t even opened yet!
